Before you start: Create the action alert in CongressPlus first, then follow the steps below to publish it to the website.

Uploading an Action

  1. From the left sidebar, go to Media > Library and upload the desired image. Add:
    • Alt Text and Title (same as alt text)
    • Description—"Photo by [Name]"
    • Make sure image size meets minimum requirements
  2. In the top menu, go to New > Action. Or in the left sidebar, go to Actions > Add Action.
  3. Fill in the action fields:
    • Action title
    • Introductory paragraph from the action
    • Action Alert ID (from CongressPlus)
    • Action image from Media Library + photo credit (name only, no "Photo by")
  4. In the right-hand column, select the Program Terms: One Parent Term and one Child (Campaign Term). There will be cases when more than one applies.
  5. Click Publish.
